2. Restart Your Router

5. Clear Your DNS Cache

- Open Utilities and launch the Terminal application.
- Enter the “sudo discoveryutil mdnsflushcache” or “sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder” if your MacOS is Yosemite 10.10 to 10.10.3 and Yosemite and after, respectively.
- Enter your password and wait for your DNS cache to clear up.
- Type in “ipconfig/flushdns” in the Command Prompt.
- Hit the Enter button and wait for your DNS cache to clear up.
6. Reset Your Router’s Settings
You can also reset your router’s settings back to its default factory options. However, note that doing so will erase all your customized features, such as your password and guest networks.
Below is how you can do it:
Step 1. Unplug your router and push the reset button located on its side or at its back. But you may need to use a safety pin on older router models.
Step 2. Wait for at least one minute before plugging your router back in.
Step 3. Set up your home network again

7. Reset Your WiFi Network Settings
Similar to the previous step, resetting your WiFi network settings will erase all your customized preferences, such as your passwords, VPN settings, and your internet glitches and bugs.
Below is how you can do it on your device:
- Go to your System Preferences from the Apple menu.
- Afterward, click on the Network settings and then press the minus (-) button on the WiFi dropdown menu.
- Click the plus (+) button again and select WiFi in the Interface settings.
- Tap Apply and wait for your changes to occur.
- From the Windows Settings, go to your Network & Internet tab then click Status.
- Click on the Network Reset button and confirm your selection.
- Restart your device and set up your home network again.

If your Virgin Media WiFi is not working on your iPhone, you can always try rebooting your device to give it a quick refresh. Doing so will also clear your DNS cache.
