You can address AT&T gateway and service box issues by power circulating the device’s HW.
This is an effective remedy against any hardware or software issues with the gateway and can restore the connectivity to the AT&T ONT service box.
How to Power Cycle the AT&T BGW320 Gateway?
- Unplug the power adapter of the gateway from the wall.
- Disconnect the other end of the cable from the gateway.
- Wait for 60 seconds while the BGW320 is discharging.
- Reinstall the power adapter of the device into the outlet.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the electrical port.
How to Power Cycle the AT&T Service Box?
- Disconnect the Power cable from the service box.
- Unplug the other end of the cable from the outlet.
- Wait for 60 seconds while the wire is unplugged.
- Reseat the adapter on both ends after the cycle.

- After that, access the official AT&T website at “att.com.”
- Tap on the “Outages” button from the homepage of AT&T.
- Click the “Sign In” button under the “Service outage info.”
- Sign in to your AT&T client account with your credentials.
- If prompted, enter your Residential Location on the field.
- Once logged on, you will be forwarded to the outage table.
The outage table will bring up all AT&T and DIRECTV outages happening now and provide you with information about the service status in the last 24 hours.
