You must power cycle all devices in your setup, including the Hive thermostat, the Hive receiver, and the Hive hub.

So, the steps below will cover the correct way to power cycle your Hive units!

How to Power Cycle Hive Thermostat?

1. First, verify that the Hive thermostat is working.
2. Then, dismount your thermostat from the wall.
3. Lift the latch of the battery compartment cover.
4. Remove the batteries from the Hive thermostat.
5. Wait for 30 seconds with the batteries ejected.
6. Insert the batteries into the thermostat correctly.

How to Power Cycle Hive Network Hub?

1. Unplug the power adapter from the wall socket.
2. Wait for your Hive Hub to completely discharge.
3. The power circulation requires up to 60 seconds.
4. Then, connect the Hive Hub directly to the outlet.
