Step 1. Open any Browsers on your Computer or Device
After opening a web browser, access the Admin Facility (type in http://10.0.0.1 on your web browser).

If you have not personalized or changed it, then you can log in with the default credentials, which is “admin” for its username and “password” for its password.
Note: In case you forgot the credentials; may you have it changed or personalized, worry not because you just need to do the following:
- Look for the tiny little button at the back of the hardware
- Look for a long and thin object that is enough to press the little button. You may use the tip of a paper clip or hairpin.
- Press and hold the button for 15-20 seconds until the Led lights will blink in the process

Step 2. Click “LOGIN”
Once you log in, the page will immediately ask you to set up a new ID and security code for the Admin Tool.
You need to do this first to protect your data privacy through your Xfinity router since all of its modems have the same default access and passcode.
After this, you may change your credentials.
Step 3. Change It Using the Admin Tool
You can also change it at the top right corner of the website and enter your new passcode for your web community.
Please make sure that the new one you’ll nominate has at least eight (8) characters, both uppercase and lowercase letters, and has at least one number.
Type your new nominated passcode again in the Re-enter New Password field. Then click, “SAVE.”

Step 1. Download the Application in Your Mobile Device
- Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
- Search for the Xfinity My Account on the search bar
- Press Download or Get and wait for the installation to finish
- Once done, it’ll ask you for your login; input your credentials to be able to log in
Take note that the access information are the same credentials you use to access your Mobile account.
Furthermore, it can also be your email address, mobile number, or an access you may have set up previously.
Step 2. Tap the Internet Icon
After successfully logging in the application, you will see an Internet Icon with Internet as its label on the bottom of your screen.
For devices that are run by the Android OS, click on the menu icon in the left side corner of the screen, then hit on the option that says Internet.
Step 3. Tap on the Wireless Gateway or Modem Option
Upon accessing the internet icon, you will see your Wi-Fi identification and on its right is an image of your wireless gateway or your hardware.
Tap on the option that gives you access to the hardware and you will be directed to the settings of your web device.
Step 4. Select the “Change WiFi Settings” Option
Enter and save your new access and passcode. Easy, right? Now your gateway will only take a few minutes to update your settings!
Step 5. Reconnect Your Wireless Devices to Your Wi-Fi Network

- Open your browser and type in the website
- Log in your Xfinity username and password and select Settings
