To power cycle, simply unplug it from its main power source (either from the back of the box or from the wall outlet) for 15 to 30 seconds. Then, plug it back in again.
To add to this, it’s also worth detaching and reattaching all wires and cables on the receiver. This is to ensure that there are no loose connections; this would include the HDMI and the power cables.
