1. Power Cycle Your Gateway

- Locate the Power button on the Xfinity gateway’s top panel.
- Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to power off.

- Scroll down to “Manage Internet” and click the button.
- Select “Start Troubleshooting” to begin the restarting.
The modem restart will unload and reload the system firmware software to check if it’s on its latest version.
Remember that this action requires some time to execute, and you’ll have to wait about 2 minutes before launching the modem back to service.
Tip: If you don’t have the Xfinity app installed, restart it via the browser or the admin tool!
5. Disconnect Third-Party Devices
