- Access Terminal on your Mac.
- Type in ipconfig getifaddr en0.
- The one that’ll be listed below would be your default gateway IP.
You can also check it by going to System Preferences > Network. Select the TCP/IP tab and check what the IPv4 Address is.
From there, you’ll be able to determine if what you’re connecting to is the real value or network!
