Solution #1 Enable Verizon Caller ID
The first thing you should attempt to prevent your phone from dropping calls is to enable the Verizon Caller ID.
This trick means disabling your phone’s outgoing status of anonymity, which could be causing the calls to randomly disconnect.
To enable the Verizon Caller ID, follow these steps:
- On your phone, go to Settings.
- Head to “Phone”.
- Scroll down.
- Press on “Show My Caller ID”.
- Save and exit the settings on your phone.
- Test.
Note: Enabling the Caller ID, means that everyone you dial will be able to see your mobile Verizon number.
Solution #2 Hard Reboot The Phone

- Press and hold the power button of the device.

- Locate the SIM pinhole on the side of your phone.
- Insert the thin object into the small hole.
- Pull out the SIM card compartment.

- Go to the Settings on your phone.
- Head to General.

- Scroll all the way down to Carrier.

Solution #7 Switch Phone To 3G

Since most of the areas within the U.S and Canada are still primarily covered by 3G signal, the cell coverage would use other services when set to 3G.
