3. Reconnect Your Device to the WiFi
Another reason why Sky Sports is not working through your Sky Go is due to slow or fluctuating internet or WiFi.
One of the quickest ways to refresh the network connectivity would be to disconnect and reconnect your device to the WiFi.
Go to Settings > WiFi > Forget WiFi.

- First, open the Settings app on your iOS device.
- Then, scroll straight down until you find Sky Go.
- Enter the Sky Go tab and then tap on “Location.”
- From the options, select “Always” and go back.
Note: When you’re ready to allow the location permission for the Sky Go app on your device, perform a restart and then test Sky Go Sports.
6. Disable Activated Device VPN Service
A VPN – Virtual Private Network is a software or app that alters your IP address location by connecting to servers around the world.
Such software on your computer might prevent your Sky Go access to Sky Sports, as well as other on-demand content.
As we’ve mentioned, Sky Go is only available inside the UK, and when the app detects a VPN or a Proxy on your network, your access might be denied.
So, if you have an activated VPN app on your Sky Go playout device, now would be a great time to disable the service temporarily.
