2. Faulty Ethernet cables
Ethernet cables come in a variety of types. There are regular ones that are fast, but not blazingly fast as gigabit Ethernet.
Your Luxul knows which cables are connected as it lights up orange for the slower cable type.
3. Outdated Device Firmware
Your Luxul router’s firmware can also cause this issue, especially if it detects an incompatibility with your network settings.

If you see your Luxul router’s lights blinking orange from green, the first you need to do is restart it.

You want to do an advanced version of a restart. It’s possible that you don’t only have a Luxul router as they also offer different products.
You could have a mesh system or an access point that links with your router.

Here’s how to power cycle your Luxul and network devices:
- Switch OFF your router, access points, extenders, and mesh devices.
- Pull their plugs out of the socket.
- Wait for 2 to 5 minutes.

- Get an Ethernet cable that says Cat 5, 5E, or 6.
- Remove the current cable that connects your modem and router.
- Plug one end of your new cable to the modem.
- Connect the other end to the WAN port on your router.

Note: There are also Ethernet cables that are higher than Cat 6, but they’re hard to find.
