With Hughesnet, you might not be able to receive auto-updates, so you must apply the new firmware versions manually.

- Open your web browser and paste “192.168.1.1 IP”.
- Press enter and use “admin” and “password” to log in to the control panel.
- Once logged in Hughesnet, locate the firmware tab of your modem.
- Navigate to the “Check for updates” button and initiate the checker.
