How Does SNOO Work Without WiFi?
The truth is that SNOO can be operated without a Wi-Fi connection, but you cannot adjust and control the bassinet remotely.

You can control the speed of the rocking and manage the various motion levels available for the bassinet through an in-built button on the frontal panel.
Can You Use the SNOO App Without Wi-Fi?
As established earlier, one of the services that will be unavailable for your baby bed without a Wi-Fi connection is the SNOO mobile app.
The platform allows for remote regulation of the bed sleeping modes, setting up schedules, and tracking the sleep health of your sleepy little one.
Bypassing the Wi-Fi setup on your SNOO will revoke access to the app, thus restricting you from utilizing plenty of helpful features for increasing the baby’s sleep quality.

How to Use SNOO Without WiFi Easily?
Tip: Follow our steps consecutively!
1. Set Up the SNOO Power Supply
Assuming you’re just starting the SNOO setup, the first task is to choose a suitable position for the bassinet and supply it with power.
There are multiple requirements for the A/C supply of the SNOO bassinet to provide your baby with an uninterrupted and secure sleeping experience.
Here’s how to set up the power supply of the SNOO bassinet:
- Connect the power cable of the SNOO to an A/C supply.
- Plug the other end of the cable into SNOO’s power port.
- Wait until the LED light of the SNOO bassinet comes on.
It’s essential to validate that the SNOO baby bassinet receives a stable power supply without fluctuations.
Improper A/C connection could lead to further complications with the functionality of the bassinet by deactivating the selected swinging regimes and white noise levels.
How to Restart the SNOO Bassinet?
If you wish to change the current regime of the SNOO bassinet, you can perform a reboot by pressing the Power button.
Press the Power button once to turn off the bassinet, wait for 10 seconds, and press it again to turn the device back on.
Tip: It’s always safer to connect the bassinet directly to the outlet and not to an extender!
2. Disable SNOO Bassinet’s WiFi
Setting up SNOO without Wi-Fi is only possible after deactivating the in-built Wi-Fi setting of the bassinet by pressing the Wi-Fi button.
This Wi-Fi button can either be pressed in, allowing you to connect the baby bed to Wi-Fi, or pressed out, deactivating the connection of the bassinet.
- To deactivate the Wi-Fi, locate the Wi-Fi button on the underside of the bassinet and press it once to pop out the button.
Note: The bassinet may connect automatically to a nearby connection when in range!
3. Control the SNOO Bassinet Manually
You can control the SNOO bassinet without Wi-Fi solely through an in-built action button on the frontal panel.
You can choose from 4 available manual levels, allowing you to adjust the device according to your baby’s needs in terms of motion and white noise.
The difference between each level is the strength of motion and decibels of white noise, and you will notice the difference once you’ve started adjusting the bassinet.
What is the Number of Manual SNOO Motion Levels?
Without an active internet connection, you will be limited to choosing from a few motion levels, adjusted by pressing a button on the frontal part of the bassinet’s frame.
You can still activate the SNOO’s motion and sound solely by pressing the in-built action button on the unit’s front.
- The motion and white noise levels are separated into 4 individual levels!
Each level comes at a higher motion speed and decibels, according to how many times you’ve pressed the button.
The highest motion level (Level Four) is about 84 decibels of white noise, mimicking the womb’s soothing rumble to comfort your happy baby.
Tip: Test whether all 4 levels work correctly on your SNOO baby bassinet.
4. Reset the SNOO Motion & Noise Levels
In case you want to choose a different activity level for your SNOO bassinet, it is enough to unplug the bed from power and reconnect it again.
This will erase the current motion and white noise configuration, allowing you to re-adjust the behavior of the SNOO baby bassinet entirely.
Note: You can reset the SNOO motion and noise levels anytime you need to!
SNOO: No Wi-Fi, No Problem (Workaround)

All SIM-enabled mobile devices can share mobile connectivity data with nearby devices as long as they remain within range of the shared network.

So, you may have to reconnect the bassinet each time your phone goes out of range of the SNOO.
