Nowadays almost any smartphone is equipped with this feature, which is an excellent opportunity to never miss a landline call when you’re not home.
For example, when someone calls your BT landline when a call diversion is activated, the call will be redirected to the predetermined mobile number.

As we’ve already mentioned you can entirely divert the BT landline calls or configure the divert to appear only when the landline was not picked up.
Let’s begin with unwrapping how to deliver calls from BT Landline to mobile in different ways!
There are 3 general options to choose from!
- To divert ALL calls directly, dial: *21*(phone number)#
- To divert calls after 15 seconds of inactivity, dial: *61*(phone number)#
- To divert calls when the BT landline is busy, dial: *67*(phone number)#
Upon finishing the configuration with one of the aforementioned options, you’ll be notified via an announcement on the BT landline screen.
From now on the rule will be followed and the calls will be diverted in different scenarios.
You can always dial and set a different priority option!
How To Turn OFF Call Diversion?
The way to turn OFF the call devices remains different, based on the currently activated diversion option.
In case you only need to disable ALL diversion, simply dial the numbers from all 3 options below.
In case you only want to disable one of them, follow the respective step!
- To disable direct call divers, dial: #21#
- To stop the 15 seconds window diver, dial: #61#
- To prevent the divert when the BT landline is busy, dial: #67#
Upon dialling, the corresponding call diversion will be disabled.
Then you can either leave the configuration this way and receive calls on your BT landline or insert a number to divert calls to.
How To Check Diverted Numbers?
It’s also important to know how to check which numbers our BT landline is diverted to, so we can recognize who’s actually picking them up.
Follow the instructions below to bring the mobile number used for setting up any of the 3 types of call diversion.
- Check the direct call divert number by dialling: *#21#
- Check the 15 seconds delay divert number by dialling: *#61#

The diverted mobile number will be brought up on the BT landline phone screen, so you can verify any of the details.
Based on what you’re intending to do, follow the aligning steps!
Note: When Call Barring is included, you’ll need to enable the Call Diversion first!
How Much Does BT Call Diversion Cost?
The cost per month for a call diversion with BT Mobile depends on how many calling features are going to be included.
For example, here we’re speaking for Call Diversion, also there is Voicemail, Text, Roaming, Minutes and more…
Quick Fact: For call redirecting only, you won’t have to pay too much extra!
