Wondering how do I set up Hulu through Verizon? Well, it’s easier than you might think!
Setting up Hulu from Verizon is a great way for Verizon customers to acquire Hulu subscriptions by being billed directly through Verizon.
Well, the entire operation is not complex at all, and in this article, we’ll discuss the benefits as well as the downsides and of course, how it’s done!
To set up Hulu through Verizon, you need to first sign up for the Verizon Disney Bundle, which is available through the My Verizon App or your Verizon Account page.
Let’s learn more!
Can You Get Hulu Through Verizon – Must Know!
Yes, you can but not straightforwardly. What this means is that you need to subscribe to the Disney Bundle through your Verizon account.
Hence, there is no way to pay only for Hulu, and you need to pay for the entire Disney Bundle, whether or not you enjoy Disney+ and ESPN+.
What Does the Disney Bundle Include?
The Verizon Disney Bundle involves the following:
- Hulu – Stream on-demand TV shows and movies, with the ad-supported plan!
- Disney+ – Stream all Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and more classic titles and releases.
- ESPN+ – Stream thousands of sports events, on-demand sports, and live sports.
Note: Upon subscribing to the Verizon Disney Bundle, you’ll have access to all 3 platforms!
How Much Does the Disney Bundle Cost?
There are a couple of choices when purchasing the bundle:
- Disney Bundle (Duo) Basic – $9.99, – Disney+ (Ads) & Hulu (Ads).
- Disney Bundle (Trio) Basic – $12.99, – Disney+ (Ads) & Hulu (Ads) & ESPN (Ads).
- Disney Bundle (Trio) Basic – $19.99, – Disney+ (No Ads) & Hulu (N Ads) & ESPN (Ads).
Unfortunately, there is no trial for this Verizon bundle, and once subscribed you won’t be able to switch from one to another.
Also, you won’t be able to subscribe for add-ons, in order to upgrade your Hulu from (Ads) to (No Ads).
Note: If you want to switch later, you need to stop the bundle and subscribe directly from Hulu.
How Do I Set Up Hulu Through Verizon in 4 Easy Steps?
Important: To get the Disney Plus bundle you need to have Verizon 5G Get More or 5G Play More plans.
1. Go to Your Verizon Dashboard
The first step is to add the Disney Bundle to your Verizon account, which you can achieve from the official Verizon website (My Account), or from the Verizon mobile app.
Through the Verizon App:
The Verizon app is available for Android phones from the Google Play Store as well as for iOS phones from the App Store.
The app is called “My Verizon” and you’ll need to download it and sign into your account.
You can sign in automatically by disabling the WiFi and enabling the 4G.
Through the Verizon Web:
If you’re going to use a computer or phone browser for adding the Disney Bundle activation, you need to go to My Verizon.
There, you need to sign into your Verizon account and get redirected to your profile’s dashboard.
Note: When using a browser, you don’t need your Verizon cellular internet to sign in!
2. Add the Verizon Disney Bundle!
The most important step is to add the Disney Bundle to your Verizon account!
Note: Only the account owner can perform these steps!
Follow the steps below:
- From the Verizon dashboard, go to Account.
- Then, look for and enter “Apps & Add-Ons”.
- Then, find the “Apps & Add-Ons Overview”.
- Info: On mobile, start from the Menu icon “≡”.
- Then, scroll down to the “Entertainment” tab.
- Find the Disney Bundle, and then “Get it now”.
- Insert the email address you would like to use.
- Select the “Check email” button for verification.
- In the email you will receive, click on “Continue”.
- Finally, select the “Enroll Disney Bundle” button.
- Click on “Go to Disney” and complete the steps!
It’s very important to use the same email at the Disney website, as the one you’ve used in step #7 from the above’s instructions.
To complete the process you must agree to the terms of service and shortly, the Disney Bundle will be added to your Verizon account.
Tip: If you already have Hulu registration, use the same email for the Disney Bundle in Verizon!
3. Verify Your Account is Good to Go!
The final steps on the Disney website would be to create a registration or sign into an existing one.
An old Hulu account won’t be of any help, but if you’re subscribed to Disney, that would be the account that you need to sign into to receive the same Verizon offer.
You’re ready when you see “Your Disney account is good to go”.
You’ll have three options:
- Activate Hulu
- Login to ESPN+
- Stream Disney+
Respectively, select the Activate Hulu button and follow the remaining steps to begin the activation of the Hulu (With Ads) Verizon offer.
4. Activate Your Hulu Subscription!
When you select “Activate Hulu”, you’ll be sent to the login page. Then you only need to insert the details you’ve used while getting the Disney Bundle.
Then, click on the correct profile and go to the Profile Icon > Account > Hulu.
In case the email address used is already associated with an existing Hulu account, enter the correct password.
You can reset the password by using the “Forgot your password/email” and follow the steps to receive a reset link by email.
If you have to create a new Hulu account, enter the required information, review the terms of service and privacy policy, and select “Continue”.
You need to verify that you enter the same email, used for the Disney Bundle at Verizon.
Note: When you’re done, click on the “Start Watching Hulu” button!
5. Start Streaming Hulu Anywhere!
You now officially have a Hulu subscription through Verizon. It’s time for some Hulu streaming!
Feel free to download the Hulu application from Google Play for Androids or Apple Store for iOS iPhones and iPads.
In fact, you don’t necessarily need the app to stream Hulu on your devices.
You can simply go to Hulu.com, on any device with an online browser, and enter the credentials (email and password) used for getting the Disney Bundle.
You’ll then be signed into the account and you can start streaming Hulu, as long as your Verizon billing continues through in time.
Note: Not paying your Verizon bill, ultimately prevents access to Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+!
How Do I Pay for Hulu Through Verizon?
You will be billed for the Disney Bundle through Verizon, meaning that your monthly bill will be higher compared to before, without the Disney Bundle.
In case you’re using an online payment method such as a Debit/Credit card for paying Verizon, this is where funds will be subtracted.
That was how I set up my Hulu account through Verizon, so let’s answer some questions:
Verizon – Hulu Cancellation?
You cannot cancel Hulu only and keep Disney+ and ESPN+. Instead, you need to cancel your Disney Bundle in its entirety.
You can cancel the service from the “Add-Ons and Apps” in your Verizon account from the Verizon app or from the official Verizon website.
Verizon – Hulu Plan Upgrade?
Unfortunately, if you have created a new registration for Hulu after getting the Disney Plus bundle, you’re not eligible to upgrade to Hulu (No Ads).
However, if you’ve used an already existing Hulu account, you can manage and add ad-ons, from the official Hulu website.
The only way to upgrade to Hulu (No Ads) would be to subscribe to Hulu by using a different email, hence creating a new registration.
So if you’re only interested in Hulu, and nothing else from the Disney Bundle, we recommend canceling the service after upgrading to Hulu (No Ads).
Canceling Your Verizon Plan?
Well, if you’re canceling your Verizon plan altogether, the Disney Bundle will be canceled as well.
However, if you were an existing Disney+ or Hulu subscriber before getting the Disney Bundle, after canceling Verizon, your annual billing will continue from Disney or Hulu directly.
Best of luck!
