1. Reset the Thermostat’s Power!
So, perhaps the Hive thermostat has failed to close the water circulation of the system due to temporal power supply issues.
An effective way to restore the thermostat’s functionality and all HVAC system features is simply by reinserting the battery units.
Here’s how to reset the power supply of the Hive thermostat in easy steps:
- Remove the Hive thermostat from the setup wall mount.
- Find the battery compartment and expose the batteries.
- Eject all four batteries from the thermostat’s compartment.
- Wait for 60 seconds while the thermostat is deactivated.
- Reinsert all four of the batteries back into your thermostat.
- Close the battery latch and reinstall the Hive thermostat.
It’s crucial to check the positioning of the battery compartment’s cover and verify that the four batteries are correctly installed.
The electrical poles of the batteries must be in contact with the springs/connectors, and if they are missing, bent, or defective, the device will not draw power.
