Solution #1: Make Sure Your Subscription is Active

If you are prompted to renew your subscription when you have an active account, try restoring your app store purchase.

Here’s what you should do if you subscribed to HBO Max through partner app stores like Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Samsung Checkout:

On iOS Devices:
- Go to the Apple App Store.
- Tap on your Profile Picture.
- Select Subscriptions.
- Look for HBO Max on your Purchase history.
On Android Devices (including Firestick):
- Open Google Play Store on your device.
- Click on your Profile icon at the top right.
- Select Subscriptions.
- Check if HBO Max is under Expired Subscriptions.
- Check under Declined payment methods as well.
Note: If you find HBO Max in these categories, it means that you have no active account. You will need to sign up again.
On your TV:
- Go to your TV’s app store.

Solution #5: Link Current Subscription to Your HBO Account

Doing this will link your subscription to the main HBO account. Before you do that, sign in to your account on your phone, tablet, or computer.

- Open the HBO Max app.
- Click the Already subscribed link found at the bottom.
- Choose your provider from the list.
