1. Once you have confirmed that your device is compatible, connect it to a stable Wifi.
2. Open the Phone App(Some devices call it dialler)
3. Tap on the three dots at the top left corner ( On some devices tap on more).
4. Tap on Wifi Calling
5. You will be required to fill out a form and set up an emergency address.
6. Set your 911 emergency address.
7. Follow the prompts on your screen to complete setting Wifi Calling

Note: You have to set up a 911 emergency address because Wifi calling does not show your location. 

In case of an emergency, it can be difficult to trace someone who is using Wifi Calling.

Turn On WiFi Calling On Your iPhone

You can also use Wifi calling on your iPhone or iPad. Whichever the case, the steps are quite similar. 

Here are the steps to set up Wifi Calling for iPhone

1. Go to your Settings from your iPhone Menu
2. Select Cellular
3. If you are using a dual SIM phone, select Freedom Mobile SIM 
4. Tap on Wifi Calling and Turn Wifi Calling on
5. Enter your home address for emergency purposes
6. Confirm \and finish setting up your device

Note: If you use a dual SIM card phone, you must specify which SIM card you wish to use for Wifi calling. 

Make sure you select your primary Freedom Mobile line for this purpose.

How to Know You Are Connected to WiFi Calling

After setting up your phone for Wifi calling, you must confirm that the settings are working.

The only way to confirm this is by making a call to your phone using a different phone. 

If you are in a region that lacks coverage, you will be surprised to realize that the call goes through.

You can also confirm that the process is complete by looking at your device status bar. The name “Wi-Fi” will be displayed on your status bar right next to your carrier name. 

Note: Your Wifi strength should be strong enough to sustain a call. 

If your Wifi is lost during a call, you will be automatically switched to your Freedom Mobile network using VoLTE.
