The Big Roam Extra USA is a Freedom mobile international roaming charges plan for those traveling to the US.
This is one of the most popular plans for Canadians due to their frequent travels to the US. On this plan, you get unlimited calls while in the US and calling back to Canada.
You also enjoy unlimited global texting.
More importantly, you will receive extra data depending on your current Freedom Mobile plan.
The plan also covers Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. If you run out of data on the plan, you have to go with a daily renewal fee of $7 per day.

There are two main ways you can activate your roaming plans. You can either activate it by login into My Account or using the USSD code.

- To activate a USA roaming pass, dial *134# and follow the prompts
- To activate Big Gig Extra South roaming, dial *123# and follow the prompts.
