- You will hear a magnetic snap when they are connected properly.
- You will hear a chime when charging begins and see the charging symbol.
Note: If you use the magnetic charging dock, lay your Apple Watch on the dock to start charging.
Another workaround you can try to fix your Apple Watch is completely discharging your device.
This should give your device’s charging mechanisms a sort of reboot that will resolve your issue.
Here’s what you should do.
- Drain the battery of your Apple Watch.
- Once discharged, plug your device into an outlet charger.
- Wait for it to charge completely.
Note: Discharging your Apple Watch can take more than a week. But, doing so resets the charging mechanism of the device completely.
