Also, the application allows registered users to add other Telstra services, such as Broadband Internet, nbn service, TV and a wide range of mobile phone services.

1. Clear the Telstra App’s Cache & Data
If the Telstra application does not launch on your mobile device, the first step is to clear the generated cache and data files.
Excess data files generated periodically throughout the application’s usage on your mobile device may significantly slow down the performance.
How to Clear the Telstra App’s Cache On Android?
- Open the “Settings” app on the Android device.
- Go to “Storage” and navigate to “Applications.”
- Use the search field to locate the Telstra app.
- Select the app and navigate to your “Settings.”
- Finally, tap “Clear Cache” and then “Clear Data.”
How to “Offload” Apps on Apple’s iOS?
- Open the “Settings” app on the iPhone or iPad.
- Go to “General” and access “iPhone Storage.”
- Scroll down and locate the Telstra application.
- Select the app and tap on the “Offload” button.
- To confirm, press “Offload” again and then wait.
Note: Load the Telstra application on your iOS device after waiting at least 20 seconds!
2. Update the Telstra App’s Version
An outdated operating version of the Telstra application might jeopardise the functionality or increase the loading times significantly.
Hence, keeping the firmware of the Telstra app to the most recent firmware version is the key to maintaining the proper platform functionality.

- Open the Google Play Store on your mobile Android device.
- Tap on your profile icon at the top navigation bar of the page.
- Tap on “Manage Installed Applications” and then scroll down.
- Locate the Telstra app in the list and press the “Update” button.
- To update all apps, highlight and tap “Update.”
How to Update Telstra App Apple’s iOS?
- Launch the App Store on the mobile iOS device.
- Tap on your profile icon at the bottom-right end.
- Scroll to “Pending Updates and Release Notes.”
- Tap “Update” next to the Telstra app in the list.
- To update all apps, tap the “Update All” button.
Note: Updating installed applications requires a stable internet connection!
3. Validate the Device’s Connection
An unstable internet connection will not allow the Telstra app to launch and function properly on your Android or iOS device.

- Wait for 30 seconds while the data is turned off.

- Locate applications you no longer or rarely use.
- Next, select an application you wish to remove.
- Tap on the “Uninstall” button to remove the app.
- Repeat for all unnecessary installed applications.
How to Free Up Storage Space On Apple’s iOS?
- Locate an app on the home screen of your Apple device.
- Hold the app for 3 seconds for the quick options to occur.
- Tap on the “Remove this App” to uninstall your platform.
- Repeat for all unnecessary applications that are installed.
- Go to “Settings” → “iCloud” to reduce the iCloud’s storage.

However, remember that this method is only available for Android devices, as iPhones do not support external drives.
Warning: Formatting an external drive on your Android device will erase all of the stored content without the possibility of bringing it back.
