Spectrum Mobile voicemail not working is frustrating and inconvenient, especially if you rely on your voicemail for personal and professional communication. Luckily, we know some fixes to help you!
Solution #1: Check Your Network Connectivity
If you’re having trouble with your voicemail, one of the first things you should check is your network connectivity.
Poor or unstable connections will cause Spectrum Mobile visual voicemail iPhone not working error.
To make sure your network is stable, try these steps:
For iPhone:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap on WiFi and ensure it is turned on.
- Check to see if you’re connected to a WiFi network.
- Connect to an active WiFi connection.
- If you don’t have WiFi, turn the Data switch On.
- Check the WiFi and Signal strength indicators.
- Make sure both WiFi and Mobile are at least 3 bars.
Note: You want to deactivate Airplane Mode as this stops network connections and cause your voicemail to malfunction.
After checking your network connectivity, try accessing your voicemail again and see if it works.
Solution #2: Turn Off Your Phone’s Do Not Disturb Mode

For Android:

- Go to the Phone app on your device.
- Tap on the three-dot menu button in the top right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Scroll down and tap on Calling Forwarding.
- In the open tab, you will see forwarding options enabled.
- Make sure that you disable all of them.
Note: If you don’t see the call forwarding option in your phone’s Settings app, it isn’t enabled in your account.

- Go to the Spectrum website at spectrum.net.
- Click on the Sign In button.
- Enter your username and password.
- Select the Service tab and tap Voice.
- Select Experiencing Issues.
- Tap on Reset Equipment.
- Restart your modem and wait 30 seconds before plugging it back in.
- Wait for your modem to reconnect to the internet
After resetting your Spectrum account and equipment, check if your voicemail works correctly. If it isn’t, proceed to the next solution.
Solution #5: Clear Your Voicemail App’s Temporary Files and Data
If you’re having trouble with your Spectrum Mobile voicemail not working, try clearing your phone’s temporary files and data.

- Select iPhone Storage.

Solution #7: Reset Your Phone’s Network Settings
If your Spectrum Mobile voicemail service is still not working, try resetting your phone’s network settings.

- Go to Settings.
- Under General, tap Reset.
- Tap on Reset Network Settings.
- Enter your passcode.
- Tap on Reset Network Settings again to confirm.
For Android devices:

- Enter your four-digit PIN.
- Record your custom greeting.
