#1: Check Your Internet Connection
Hulu Live requires a stable internet connection to stream high-quality videos without interruptions.
If your internet connection is slow, unstable, or congested, you will experience lagging, buffering, or freezing issues when watching Hulu Live CBS.
To check your Internet connection, follow these steps:
- Go to speedtest.net or fast.com.
- Click the Start Test button.
- Wait for the speed test to run.
- You will see your download speed, upload speed, and latency.
- Compare your results to the minimum requirements for Hulu Live streaming.
Streaming Quality | Download Speed |
Hulu Streaming Library | 3 Mbps |
Live TV | 8 Mbps |
4K Content | 16 Mbps |
If your internet speed is lower than recommended, power cycle your router to refresh your connection.
Here’s how to do it:
- Locate the power cord on the back of your router.
- Unplug it from the wall outlet.
- Wait for 30 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back in.
- Wait for the router to power on.
Note: Connect to the internet again once your router has fully started. It will take a few minutes, so be patient.
