We’ve come to the point wherein we get to binge a TV series by just having internet access and a device that can connect to it. Access to information, media, and just about anything found on the internet is at our fingertips.
A lot of good has come out of it - increased productivity, connectivity, convenience, learning, and more.
However, just like with everything else, anything is only good when taken in moderation. With internet access also being granted to underage audiences, restrictions on internet use must be put in place.
To remove this settings from EE, you can use these platforms for easy bypass.
My EE App
So, let us learn in details how we can control and utilize this privacy feature from EE.
What is EE Content Lock
“Sorry, this content is locked.” This is a familiar sight for EE subscribers. It is encountered when a user attempts to access sites that have been restricted by one’s content settings.
This feature from EE blocks R rated content from being accessed by a user. It is a helpful parenting controls tool. Its purpose is to protect underage users from viewing sites inappropriate for their age.
The feature allows for restriction on applications access, chatting, inappropriate content, online games, social networking, safe online browser access, in-app purchasing, child safety, media streaming, and search engines.
Depending on a user’s content setting, different sets of contents are given restriction. Three settings are available to achieve the user’s desired level of security: Off, Moderate, and Strict.
Dial 1818 from the device you want to have the settings change by EE.
Call 150 from any EE device.
Contact 08454 123 662 from any other device.
EE Limited, just like any digital communications provider, operates physical stores to accommodate personal transactions with customers.
From paying bills to processing reconnection, up to making inquiries about their services, the company staff can tend to just about any concern.
A user who wishes to have EE remove the lock on his/her device may also have it done in a physical store by dropping by at an EE store with any official government ID. The IDs accepted include the following:
Driving license photo and paper
Using a VPN
Aside from actually altering your account’s settings in any of the ways mentioned above, another option is to know how to bypass the EE content lock.
This can be done by using a service called Virtual Private Network or VPN.
